Integrative Approaches for Lasting Healing
At Imaginal Mind, psychotherapy is more than talk—it’s a path to transformation. Using evidence-based, mind-body therapies, we work together to address trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain at the root. Each approach is designed to help you release what’s been held in the body, restore balance, and reconnect with your authentic self.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
If you’ve been struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma that hasn’t improved with other treatments, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) may offer a new path forward.
By combining the rapid-acting benefits of ketamine with compassionate therapeutic guidance, KAP helps you access expanded awareness and emotional flexibility, so you can safely explore and release long-held patterns of thought, behavior, and pain.
Unlike traditional therapy alone, KAP supports transformational insight by quieting the “inner critic”, reducing rigid thinking, and enhancing neuroplasticity — the brain’s natural capacity to change and heal. Within this state, clients often experience a deep sense of clarity, connection, and emotional release that can accelerate growth and recovery.
Recommended For:
Depression that hasn’t responded to other treatments
Anxiety and chronic stress
PTSD and trauma recovery
Existential distress or loss of meaning
Enhancing self-awareness and emotional insight
What to Expect:
In a safe, structured setting, you’ll be guided through each step of the journey — from preparation to integration — so the benefits of your experience are meaningful and lasting.
Rediscover your inner strength.
With Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, healing isn’t just possible — it’s accelerated.
EMDR Therapy
If painful memories, trauma, or anxiety have you stuck, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy can help you break free.
EMDR Therapy is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people recover from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and deeply rooted emotional distress. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this method taps into your brain’s natural healing ability to reprocess distressing experiences. Whether it’s a single traumatic event or years of accumulated stress, EMDR helps you change the way those memories live in your body and mind, so they no longer define you.
EMDR Can Help You:
Reduce emotional triggers and anxiety
Reframe negative self-beliefs
Feel more grounded and in control
Experience relief, often faster than with traditional therapy
What to Expect:
During EMDR sessions, you’ll be gently guided through a series of eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while recalling distressing events. This process helps your brain rewire how it stores and responds to those memories — transforming emotional pain into resilience and clarity. With EMDR, you don’t just talk about your past — you change the way your mind and body respond to it, so you can move forward with more peace and confidence.

IFS Therapy
Do you ever feel like different parts of you are in conflict — one part critical, another afraid, another wanting to move forward? If so, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy can help you understand and heal these inner dynamics with compassion.
IFS is an evidence-based approach that views your mind as made up of many “parts,” each with its own voice, feelings, and role. These parts often developed in response to trauma, anxiety, or emotional wounds.
Instead of labeling them as problems, IFS helps you see them as protective patterns that once served you. With guidance, you’ll learn to access your core Self — calm, curious, and confident — and bring more harmony to your inner world.
IFS Can Help You:
Release shame, anxiety, and self-criticism
Heal emotional wounds at the root
Build self-trust, clarity, and inner peace
Strengthen connection to your authentic Self
What to Expect:
In IFS sessions, you’ll explore your inner parts with curiosity and care. With gentle guidance, you’ll learn to listen to these parts, understand what they carry, and integrate them into a more balanced whole. Over time, this process creates greater self-acceptance, emotional clarity, and lasting change.
Embrace your true Self.
With IFS Therapy, you’ll discover that you are not broken — healing flows from within, and lasting harmony is possible.
Somatic Therapy
Are you carrying stress, anxiety, or trauma that feels trapped in your body? If you often feel on edge, disconnected, or weighed down by experiences you can’t fully explain, Somatic Therapy may offer the relief you’ve been looking for.
Somatic Therapy is a body-centered approach that focuses on the mind-body connection. Instead of relying on thoughts and talk, this method guides you to notice and work with physical sensations — because the body often holds what the mind cannot put into words.
By gently reconnecting with your body in a safe, supported way, you can process unresolved emotions, release stored trauma, and feel more present.
Somatic Therapy Can Help You:
Calm anxiety and regulate your nervous system
Release trauma and stress held in the body
Improve awareness of the mind-body connection
Feel safer, more grounded, and empowered in daily life
What to Expect:
In sessions, you’ll be guided to tune into your body’s signals through gentle awareness practices, breath, and movement. With compassionate support, you’ll learn to trust your body’s wisdom, process stuck energy, and restore a sense of balance that carries into your daily life.
Reconnect with your body’s wisdom.
With Somatic Therapy, healing isn’t just in your mind — it’s in your body.

Patients & Insurance
Imaginal Mind provides individual counseling for individuals of 18 years and older.
We can work to submit claims directly to insurance companies as a courtesy; however, it is the patient’s responsibility to know their plan’s mental health services coverage terms. Patients are responsible for any portion of the fees not covered by insurance. We recommend reviewing coverage terms carefully and noting any copay, co-insurance, and deductible information, as well as in-network and out-of-network rates.
Late Cancellation / No-Show Policy
If a patient is unable to keep their scheduled appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance by calling +1 (812) 302-8200 and leaving a message. Patients who do not cancel 24 hours in advance may be charged a $50 missed appointment fee.
